A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“We had a really lovely stay here. The hotel is very family-friendly and made travelling with kids so much easier. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, especially towards my children. The receptionist even gave them Easter eggs, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and practical, with a small kitchen which was very useful. There is also a small play area with books and building blocks, which helped keep the kids entertained while waiting. We requested a cot and it was provided, which made things easier with a baby. Location is good — not too far from the main attractions and easy to get around. The luggage storage service was excellent and made everything very convenient for us. Overall, a wonderful stay with great service — would definitely recommend for families.”
“The location is good. I usually stay at the nearby Mercure, but decided to try this one instead, after a very good stay at the Adagio in central Brussels. The check in was slow. Only one person at the front desk, a lot of conversation with the family checking in before me, and the FA went to get some extra towels before checking me in. The front desk staff is very friendly, though. I'm an Accor Platinum member. Instead a potential upgrade, they gave me an accessible room, which felt like an downgrade. Apparently this was the last available room even if people checked in after me that day, Comparing to the Brussels Adagio, the room was very basic with very limited storage. Good appliances, but limited amenities. Like the only toilet roll in the room was almost empty, maybe 20% of a normal one. No Iron/Board in the room even if listed in the room description, maybe you need to request one. TV much better than listed. Good wifi. The room design was a weird, the smoke detector was almost above the stove, so they make you sign a paper to use the cooker hood and open the windows when you cook, to avoid a fire alarm. IIRC with a threat of penalty payment. Free coffee available at the breakfast area, which was nice. The breakfast itself not worth the price of €23. Late check out was available, which was also nice. Would I stay again? That's the question - not sure about the answer.”
“In general it was really nice, especially with respect to its price. People were friendly and welcoming. We have called and the reception said that bringing foldable bike to the studio is fine but it was not, however the manager accepted and ket us to bring them to the room. Facilities was good, room was nice and almost clean (not fully), the floor was not clean. Bed and sheets were all clean. It did not have home cleaning but we could take new sheets and towels ourselves at the reception. It had a nice lobby where we could enjoy drinking tea, coffe, hot chocolate... all free, and sometimes with some cookies or panckes. One problem of the room was its really strict fire alarm exactly at the top of the stove and the fine of 500 euro which made us scared of cooking anything, which we wanted to do by booking a studio.”
